The Bilderberg Northern Veluwe Route is easy to follow: You go from one numbered, signposted crossroads to the next. Your tour will start in the middle of Veluwe Forest in Garderen. At the end of every day you will be spoilt with a wonderful dinner in your Bilderberg Hotel. Unwind in the swimming pool, sauna or solarium. This is your most comfortable bike holiday yet!

Day 1: Arrival in Garderen

Your hotel is situated in a unique part of the Netherlands: the centre of The Veluwe. Today, you have plenty of time to take in the beautiful surroundings. The welcoming village of Garderen is certainly worth a visit.
Day 2: Garderen – Zwolle
Today you will discover how unspoilt nature, picturesque towns and old Hanseatic towns come together. You will cycle from the middle of The Veluwe along the northern edge of The Veluwe to the IJssel Valley. Here you will find a wealth of unspoilt nature! The route will take you through lovely nature reserves such as Speulderbos (woods), Elspeetse Heide, Doornspijkse Heide (both heathland), De Dellen county estate, Oldebroekse Heide (heath) and Petrea country estate. You will pass the villages of Drie, Speuld, Leuvenum and Vierhouten and the old and interesting hanseatic town of Hattem. The ferry at Hattem will take you across the River IJssel to the old hanseatic town of Zwolle. Here you will receive a friendly welcome in luxurious Bilderberg Grand Hotel Wientjes. Enjoy this luxury and indulge in a delicious evening meal!

· Marvel at the tall sequoiadendron tree (redwood) at the hamlet of Drie.
· Saunter through the old town centre of historical hanseatic town Zwolle
Day 3: Zwolle – Garderen
History and nature is what you will experience today. Your bike tour begins after a good hearty breakfast at Bilderberg Grand Hotel Wientjes. You will return to Hattem by ferry and continue to Wapenveld, Heerde and Epe. You arrive in Vaassen, known for De Cannenburgh Castle. Not far from Het Loo Royal Palace you will pass the northern outskirts of the town of Apeldoorn. Your trip continues through the forest at Koningsbos and Wiesselse Bos to interesting Visitors’ Centre Het Aardhuis and the heathland at Uddel and Houtdorperveld. In the middle of the peace and quiet you might almost forget you were in lively Zwolle earlier in the day. Your bike tour ends at your point of departure: Bilderberg Hotel Groot Heideborgh in Garderen. Of course there will be a wonderful dinner waiting for you at Bilderberg Hotel Residence Groot Heideborgh. In the evening, relax in the sauna or go for a refreshing swim in the pool.

Day 4: Journey Home
You have cycled the Bilderberg Northern Veluwe Route. Today your bike holiday comes to an end. But not before you have indulged in an elaborate breakfast. After breakfast it is time to go home.
